I’m Yours Tonight

I had the wonderful opportunity of designing the album cover for electronic duo Televisor’s single “I’m Yours Tonight” (Ft. Brenton Mattheus & Lambert McGaughy), as well as additional promotional material for the release.

I was asked to come up with a design that was clean, yet classic, and involving some natural elements such as skyscapes, clouds or sunsets. Imagery that would speak of rekindling old love.

From concept to finished product, Louis was very efficient and good to work with. We told him what we were looking for, what our niche was and who our market was. We gave him some pictures to use as references for him to draw inspiration from for his design and he nailed it.

Within a few days he had produced and presented to us his first attempt at the design, which happened to be spot on and ended up being the design we used. Along with this, he also provided additional designs for us to choose from in a range of sizes to suit a range of social media sites.

Bottom line; Louis is an efficient, professional and well rounded designer and we look forward to working with him again on our future projects.

The beautiful sunset photograph was provided by my father, a scan of a print out, worn with subtle scratches. One less effect I would have to re-create. The colours are wonderful — what you're seeing is what I saw in person. That brush lettering? By hand of course, always with care. Nothing beats analogue, nothing.
